PEARLER AT THE BAY

Another successful collaboration with John Walker and his team has resulted in an elegant, boomerang shaped, timber clad home on the outskirts of Pearl Bay, a well-known location on the coast in Southern Victoria.

Featured in ‘Houses’ magazine in December 2006, this unique home is collecting many accolades including a high commendation in the 2006 Australian Timber Design Awards and soon, in a feature in ‘Great Australian Sandcastle’s on the How To Channel at Foxtel.

The house far exceeds the obligatory 5 star energy rating requirements. It features a massive internal limestone wall with spotted gum timber cladding.

The home rises gracefully from the Tea Tree of our childhood summer holidays, whilst at one with its serene coastal environment.
