This house near the famous whale-viewing platform at Logan’s Beach at Warrnambool is partially buried but mostly flying above in the wild winds that sweep in from the Southern Ocean. The clever design succeeds in providing 3 protected outdoor decks (to avoid that perpetual wind), and a warm, snug earthy interior. This elegant and timeless home employs energy conserving measures and uses sustainable plantation grown timbers in side and out.
